This touring production is traditionally staged, with full set and splendid costumes, accompanied by full complement of orchestra (28) to Sir Arthur Sullivans' orchestration. Rehearsals will be held at the National School of Dance and Drama in Newtown, and the production will open in Southward Theatre, Kapiti on Saturday 18 August, and close in the Wellington Opera House on 15 September after a total of  10 performances.
